Threads Of Life

Researchers & Volunteers

T

hreads of Life sometimes receives requests from volunteers and researchers wishing to help us with our work. The support is greatly appreciated, but as a small organization working to carefully planned schedules and targets with a very busy staff, we are often unable to accommodate these offers.

Volunteers are sometimes sought for specific tasks, and notice of these needs will be posted on this page and in our newsletter. As the office functions in the Indonesian language, a basic understanding of the local language and customs is usually required.

The support of academics is equally valuable, but must be appropriate to our program strategy and be integrated at the planning stage of our annual work plan if it is to benefit rather than burden our work. Notice of specific research opportunities will be posted on this website and in our newsletter with enough lead time to accommodate the academic calendars of potential researchers.

To all potential volunteers and researchers, we thank you in advance for your support.
