These handsome warp ikat pillows were made by the a master Malaka weaver using the bark of the roots of Morinda for the red and Indigo for the blue. The motif ma’kaif symbolizes interconnectedness. The ikat and colour work are excellent.
The solid coloured rust backing is made from handspun cotton woven on a backstrap loom from Java and dyed with Ceriops tagal in the Threads of Life Dye StudioO
Only ONE of these luxurious pillows remains – It would be exquisite on a couch – we can send the pillow without the Dacron stuffing and all you need is to get new Dacron and refill it. This makes shipping much less expensive.
