Cushion CoverTraditional Textiles
This pillow is from a woman’s sarong made by the weavers of Ndona in central Flores. The horse motifs and touch of indigo ikat adds to the beauty of these pieces. The solid colour backing is made linen and dyed with Ceriops tegal in the Threads of Life dye studio.
There are only 2 of these luxurious pillows – they would be exquisite on a couch– we can send the pillow without the Dacron stuffing and all you need is to get new Dacron and refill it. This makes shipping much less expensive.
Tied, dyed and woven by Laya in Onelako, Flores, 2019.
