The weavers of Amanuban have a wide range of textiles with various techniques including; ikat, supplementary warp wrap called buna, and supplementary warp patterning called sotis. There are a few remote areas that still weave kelim patterns locally called naisa.

The sotis motif on this textile is called pasu buta refers to an ornate leather belt worn by a person of the lineage of the Meo warrior caste.

Supplementary warp patterning, single panel, twisted fringe, commercial cotton, natural dyes. Dyed by Nek Mese Kelompok and woven by Yeruton Sae in Timor, 2020.
