Timor Mud DyedPasu Buta Motif Cushion Cover
The panel of this cushion cover is made by the weavers of Amanatun in West Timor using cotton fibres in a supplementary warp technique and dyed with mud dyes. The solid coloured backing is made by the weavers from Timor using mud dye.
The motif on this cushion is called pasu buta refers to an ornate leather belt worn by a person of the lineage of the Meo warrior caste.
These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed.
