Cushion CoverTraditional Textiles
This cushion is made by the weavers of Amanuban in West Timor using cotton fibers and suplemmentary warp technique. We have left the fringe in tact as would have been on the ends of the shoulder cloth that this cushion was made from. The solid coloured back panel of this cushion is made from commercial cotton and woven by the community of weavers in Timor and dyed with mud dyes. The colours are very colour fast due to the many applications of tannins, rich iron mud and mulitple washings. These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed.
Woven in Timor, 2019.
