Cushion CoverTraditional Textiles
This cushion is made by the weavers in West Timor using cotton fibers. The front panel includes a lovely slit tapestry piece from the traditional belt called a Futu. The solid coloured back panel of this cushion is made from commercial cotton and woven by the community of weavers in Timor and dyed with mud dyes. The black is very colour fast as has been washed repeatedly in the rivers. We would still recommend dry cleaning this cushion. These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed.
Woven in Timor, 2019.
