The front and back of this cushion is made up of a traditional cloth woven in Sulawesi using natural dyes and traditional ikat motifs.
The motif on this cushion is called lelen sepu which refers to the betelnut bag carried by women that contains the lime, betelnut and sirih leaf for chewing betel. It is polite to always offer betelnut by both the host and visitor.
These handmade natural dyed cushions are exquisite on a couch, chair or bed.
