This cushion is made up of a traditional cloth woven on Sulawesi using natural dyes and traditional ikat motifs. The motif on this cushion is called tonoling, the name of a compound near Rongkong to the north of the Karataun weaver group. This motif refers to the relationship through marriage between the two areas. This motif is a reminder of the importance of relationships.
These handmade natural dyed cushions would be exquisite on a couch, chair or bed.
