Beit Ana is a narrow single panel textile used as a shoulder cloth by women for ceremonies and special occasions. The textiles of Miomafo area in West Timor are known for their indigo work with intricate ikat.
The motif on this textile called manu refers to a chicken which is very important in Timor ceremonies and rituals.

Warp ikat, single panel, open fringe, commercial cotton, natural dyes. Ikat tied, woven and dyed in Miomafo, Timor, 2021.
